The Role:

• Utilize human-centered design practices to tackle complex problems and enhance user experience for  mobile banking products and services
• Provide expert-level UX strategy, guidance and design across multiple projects at a time - including workshops, user research, personas, user testing, wireframes, user flows, and other representations of UX design direction to guide clients through design processes.
• Partner with Analytics, Product, Strategy, and Technology teams to understand user needs and ensure the “right” opportunity is defined and framed
• Develop key artifacts such as user flows, journey maps, and service blueprints that lead to ideation and rapid prototyping but also help the stakeholders understand the user and influence decision-making
• Document and communicate design rationale and recommendations based on human insight and commercial facts that articulate both the “why” and the “what” of our proposed solutions
• Rapidly develop concepts/prototypes to be create with client needs to iterate and refine before implementing
• Facilitate design thinking within an engineering organization by building relationships, introducing new processes, and communicating trade-offs that keep the human in the middle of the conversation

• 7+ years of experience as a service designer, user experience designer, or related design experience, preferably for financial services,
• Launched or evolved commercial or consumer services in the real world
• Technical acumen and expertise; an understanding of designing, prototyping, building, delivering, and maintaining applications and services to inform the right trade-offs between desirability, feasibility, and viability
• A portfolio of work on which you were the primary designer or the design leader
