Senior Revenue Accountant

The RoleThe Senior Revenue Accountant will work with the Manager of Revenue Accounting and Professional Services functions to support the project review process through enhanced reporting and analysis and undertake responsibilities that enable business transformation and growth in a publicly traded technology company. Specific on-the-job training will be provided.Your Impact

• Maintain and update data inputs that drive revenue recognition under topic ASC 606 – Contracts with Customers.
• Play a key role in the preparation and presentation of information to senior management, including the development of revenue forecasts and remaining performance obligation disclosures.
• Assess countersigned customer agreements to allow for the proper establishment of Professional Services Projects and Software License Orders.
• Proactively identify and implement process improvements while adhering to internal controls in a SOX environment.
• Support internal and external audit processes collaborating with the Manager of Revenue Accounting to meet deliverables and address explanations.
• Other duties as assigned related to business transformation.
• Perform assigned month-end, quarter-end, year-end duties in a timely manner.

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field from an accredited university.
• 3 + years of accounting experience in a publicly traded organization.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel formulas, pivot tables, charts, and advanced data modeling skills.
• Process oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills with ability to facilitate open dialogue with stakeholders.
• Proven history of balancing multiple priorities with the ability to adapt to changing needs of business while continuing to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Accounting ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA, experience with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
• Experience with a project-based organization.
• Knowledge of Epicor or other ERP systems.
