Role Summary:


The Finance Business Partner for Factory Operations plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between financial strategy and the operational aspects of a manufacturing facility. This role involves a deep understanding of financial principles, cost analysis, and collaborative efforts with various departments to optimize financial performance within the factory.   


Responsibilities:


-Assist GMO:


  • Develop and issue various financial analysis reports related to factory operations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of material purchasing, focusing on cost drivers and trends.
  • Analyze and report on purchase price variances to identify areas of improvement.
  • Generate regular reports to facilitate informed decision-making by the factory management.

-Financial Analysis:


  • Monitor, Analyze, and report on customs and demurrage charges affecting the factory's overheads.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to optimize processes and reduce associated costs.
  • Collaborate with plant managers and operational teams to understand business needs.

-Factory Overhead Analysis:


  • Analysis of factory overhead costs, ensuring accurate allocation and identification of cost-saving opportunities.
  • Provide insights into areas where operational efficiencies can be achieved.

-Budgeting and Forecasting:


  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for the factory.
  • Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making and resource allocation.

-Cost Saving Initiatives:


  • Identify and lead cost-saving initiatives within the factory operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiency improvements.

-Financial Reporting:


  • Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting aligned with organizational standards.

-Cross-functional Collaboration:


  • Work closely with different departments to understand their financial needs and provide support.
  • Collaborate with business partners to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance and must have MBA, CFA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA etc. 
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in the same field.
  • Minimum 2 – 3 Years working experience in Costing.
  • Experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing.
  • SAP ERP System experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and advanced proficiency in financial modelling and MS Excel.
  • Strong Communication Skills Fluency in English & Arabic.
  • Excellent analytical skills along with the ability to create and present detailed reports.
