Job Description

Role Summary:

  • Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Participate in the design and architecture of new and existing microservices.
  • Implement RESTful web services and APIs.
  • Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Perform code review.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Continuously improve software engineering practices.



Skills

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • 8-12 years of experience in Java development with a strong focus on Spring Boot and microservices.
  • Performed transformation of Monolithic modules to microservices.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on in Containerization and Container Orchestrator
  • Strong knowledge and hands on of Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Strong knowledge and hands on microservice security.
  • Strong knowledge and microservice design patterns.
  • Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and APIs
  • Knowledge of databases, such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Knowledge in ORM such as Hibernate, Mybatis.
  • Familiarity with Git, BitBucket, SVN, Maven, and other build tools
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving skills
  • Should be an excellent team player
  • Worked with JIRA and Agile development methodology
