DevOps and Cloud Engineer

At iENGINEERING, we are seeking a DevOps and Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our DevOps and cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes and ensure scalability, security, and reliability of our cloud-based applications. Strong problem-solving, automation, and cloud management skills are essential for this role.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
  
• Implement best practices for cloud resource provisioning, configuration management, and optimization.
  
• Monitor cloud environments and provide proactive performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  
• Develop and maintain full CI/CD pipelines for seamless application deployment and integration.
  
• Automate build, test, and deployment processes to streamline software delivery cycles.
  
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize workflows and implement DevOps best practices.
  
• Utilize containerization technologies for efficient deployment and management of applications.
  
• Manage container orchestration for scaling, load balancing, and resource utilization optimization.
  
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code for managing cloud resources.
  
• Implement robust security measures to protect cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
  
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in cloud deployments.
  
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and remediate vulnerabilities.
  
• Configure and maintain comprehensive monitoring solutions for tracking system performance, resource utilization, and application health.
  
• Create custom dashboards and alerts to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  
• Respond to incidents promptly and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

What you’ll bring along:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree, preferably in BCS/BS. Master’s degree will be preferred.
  
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or related roles.
  
• Proficiency in cloud platforms and services.
  
• Strong understanding of containerization technologies.
  
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code.
  
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
  
• Experience in scripting and automation.
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
