Job Description

  • Lead on the design and facilitation of IKEA trainings. To support in the continual and ongoing development and design of blended learning in a variety of formats that are embedded into My Learning.
  • Lead the work of identifying behaviours based on growth ambitions and capability supporting business needs.
  • Establishes a high standard of excellence within the function including identifying, communicating, localising and implementing Leadership and Competence Development for all co-workers in the country organization.
  • Networks with stakeholders across the country organisation to proactively monitor and manage leadership, competence, development and succession needs for today and the future
  • Drives close cooperation with country Recruitment and Sourcing function to ensure alignment between recruiting strategy and succession plan
  • To lead on the design and implementation of all core mandatory training courses to ensure they are current and available as a remote design where possibly.
  • To design and facilitate bespoke training courses in line with organisational needs that is fit for purpose.
  • To carry out capability assessments across the organisation.
  • Support with the internal communications for learning initiatives across the organization.
  • Monitoring how effectively learning has been transferred to co-workers.

Qualifications

Knowledge


  • Knowledge of how to implement long-term plans, according to set budgets and goals
  • Knowledge of localising, developing and maintaining a competence model that supports the talent management needs of IKEA.
  • Knowledge of analysing learning needs and localising learning delivery methods and curriculums
  • Knowledge of anticipating, identifying and developing potential successors
  • Knowledge of different leadership styles

This position is full-time and is located in Kuwait. Some travel may be required.
