About the Job


As a BI Engineer at Aspire, you will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights through the development of advanced data visualizations and reports. You will work with cutting-edge technologies and tools to drive business decisions and enhance data-driven strategies.


What you’ll do
  • Develop dimensional data modeling and cube development using SSAS, and create interactive Power BI or Tableau BI reports with linked content, drilldowns, and nested parameters.
  • Utilize the Microsoft technology stack for data visualization, including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS, to design and implement BI dashboards optimized for usability, performance, and standardization.
  • Translate business and information requirements into technical solutions, leveraging data warehousing design principles and BI technologies across various cloud platforms.
  • Visualize data through Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools, optimizing BI dashboards for usability and performance.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to validate data models and visualizations.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences, and work across cultures and time zones.
  • Obtain relevant certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Engineer, or Azure Data Engineer to enhance expertise in data visualization and analysis.
  • Demonstrate a passion for the field by continually expanding knowledge and expertise in SQL, Python or R, and other data/BI tools.
  • Apply problem-solving and analytical skills to manipulate and interpret complex data sets, and co-design data solutions as a team player.
What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in data visualization, analysis, or modeling through BI tools such as Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, with hands-on experience in roles such as Data Analysis, Data Engineering, or Business Intelligence Engineering.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manipulate and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, AWS Certified Data Engineer, or Azure Data Engineer are preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for the field with a systematic approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous learning and improvement.
