The Competitor Monitoring Team (CMT) within the Pricing organization manages pricing for billions of items sold on Amazon worldwide and owns providing intelligence to business to ensure competitive pricing and improving customer’s shopping journey through relevant deals and promotions. The tasks handled by this team have a direct impact on customer buying decisions and Amazon's top line & profitability.
Job Description
Senior Program Manager is a key role within CMT who will be responsible for managing high impact programs and process deliverables globally, pertaining to the platforms that support deals and promotions. As a Sr. Program Manager, this leader will work on initiatives along with a team of Program Managers, Support Engineers, Business Intelligence Engineers/Analysts and Catalog Automation Specialists to support the product owners and technical platforms that facilitate deals and promotions on Amazon. This role demands regular interaction with Senior Leadership within the function and cross functionally. You will be required to influence business decisions using data, and strong judgments. Importantly, this role will require the leader to have the ability to effectively articulate ideas/proposals in a written format (usually documents) with necessary data to support.

About the team
CMT (Competitor Monitoring Team) is an integral part of Pricing organization enabling Amazon’s pricing strategy and operations. With the primary focus to provide on-time and accurate competitive pricing inputs to help make great pricing decisions, CMT also supports the WW Promotions team in efficiently delivering products that host deals and promotions for Amazon’s customers. The tasks handled by this group have a direct impact on customers' buying decisions and Amazon’s topline & profitability.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Bangalore, KA, IND
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
