We are looking for a Product Design Manager with experience leading a team of stellar designers to craft experiences in B2C companies. 
About the team: 
PayU Finance is the credit and lending arm of the PayU brand (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Prosus group. Previously Naspers group) headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands. PayU Finance operates under two brands - LazyPay and PaySense with a focus on Buy Now Pay Later and financial products. We are in pursuit of becoming India’s preferred credit super-app with various financial products in our roadmap to launch and capitalise on.
PayU Finance India has disbursed over 20 billion loans by volume and has disbursed more than $280 million in consumer credit. PayU Finance provides consumers with easy access to affordable short-term loans up to INR 5 lacs that can be availed through personal loans, point-of-sale EMI, and express loans.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the team in producing groundbreaking user experiences across all touchpoints 
• Cultivate partnerships with Program Managers and Engineering colleagues, collaborate across functions to shape a user-focused product vision, and coordinate on subsequent actions.
• Assemble and oversee teams in various locations, focusing on Research, Design, Prototyping, and UX Writing.
• Utilize insights from research to guide the strategy and direction of the product roadmap and portfolio, including particular designs and metrics.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in the larger design community in India through written work or demonstrations on other media. You’re the face of the team in the design community
• Foster a team environment which is democratic, has a thick skin for feedback and is agile

What are we looking for:

• Someone who has really good taste
• Roughly 8+ years of experience designing  consumer mobile-first product design
• Roughly 2+ years managing a team of 2 or more designers 
•  Possess strong UX design, UX writing, and research capabilities across various software products and user demographics.
• Skilled in analytics, quantitative research, instrumentation, mapping user journeys, and measuring outcomes.
• Proficient in addressing UX requirements and overcoming challenges within consumer products.
• Able to effectively communicate with precision and uphold a high degree of accountability
• Capable of exerting influence across teams without formal authority, addressing both technical and business challenges
