As an Enterprise DevOps Engineer, you will join the Enterprise Engineering cluster in the Product Development, Integration and Engineering chapter, you will partner with other internal experts, specializing in various aspects of Enterprise engineering. Together, the team collaborates on multiple products that contribute to Roche's internal business requirements.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be accountable for developing, optimizing, and managing IT services/applications. You will also focus on ensuring cost-effectiveness, scalability, and security in all aspects of the digital product lifecycle, including maintenance activities. As part of enterprise engineering, you will be involved in understanding the business application processes and functions.

Key responsibilities include;

• Hands-on technically in the cross-functional experts team and interact with stakeholders as necessary
• Responsible for the quality of the software development, delivery, and conducting peer code review.
• Develop and publish the application/prototype with the knowledge on DevOps according to the underlying infrastructure.
• Drive the implementation and maintenance of efficient Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery pipelines to automate the delivery process.
• Depth of subject matter expertise, the complexity of the solution landscape, mission-criticality and service levels of solutions, service delivery model, and stakeholder landscape vary according to the seniority level.

Who you are:

• 3 – 5 Years of relevant work experience with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT/Engineering or 5 – 7 Years of relevant work experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience of working in one or more multinational work environments (life science industry experience is a plus).

• Experience in Outsystems platform, certification of the OutSystems platform will be an advantage.
• Good Knowledge of Outsystems Architecture.
• Possess a combination of analytical thinking, hands-on problem solving and a customer service mindset.

• Effective oral and written communication skills in English and good collaboration skills.

• Working knowledge of Computer Systems Validation (CSV) and GxP will be value-added.
• Moderate travel and the ability to work across multiple time zones is required.
